Final Gasp Announce New Album, Release New Single
Boston’s Final Gasp proudly announce their new second album, New Day Symptoms, which will be released on February 27 through Relapse Records. The album was produced by Arthur Rizk.

So, it has come to pass; another blend of post-punk and some harder genre has pulled me in. It feels like peppering goth rock into more aggressive genres has been the flavor of the day, but hey, the results have spoken for themselves every damn time.


Final Gasp – “Climax Infinity”
Boston rock monsters Final Gasp came up through their hometown's hardcore scene, but their take on the genre is full of slowed-down metal riffage and glassy, gothic keyboard lines. On their early records, the band sounded a whole lot like Glenn Danzig's old punk-metal group Samhain.

“No Hand To Lead” doubles down on the band’s cold, driving blend of deathrock and post punk. The bassline stalks at the center of the mix, dark and unrelenting, while the guitars cut through with sharp, angular tension.

Clearly unwilling to merely repeat themselves, the Boston Goth/Deathrockers keep their core sound while delivering something fresh and original.
